The Hope Chest Collection by Riley Blake is based on the bright and colourful designs of the 1930's period. The colours and multiple designs and size allows you to use these fabrics for so many projects including quilting, home decorations and general sewing.
During the Great Depression of the 1930's there was a great revival of Quilting. The hard times brought a strong desire for women to socialize. Quilting became a popular way for women to fulfill their desire to be creative while still making something practical for her family. To keep expenses to a minimum, women would find quilting materials from many different sources such as sewing scraps, out-grown clothing and feed sacks.
Each leaf spray, including stem, is approximately 6 cm or 2.5 inches in length.
